MY PRACTICE
creativity, justice, community
My practice is about a way of moving- in relationship to myself, others, and the world. I believe deeply that a different world is possible- one that is more just, connective, easeful, joyous, and safe for all. I weave together my art making, organizing, and facilitation work in this commitment to building that world together.
Activating Radical Imagination
I create always as a response to the questions that follow me and root me. Questions of self, identity, liberation, possibility, and attention. I know art and story to be a transformative portal and a powerful community practice.
Cultivating Emergence and Connection
Facilitation has been an integral part of my practice for over a decade, a way of moving in relationship and a pathway to generative, courageous, and connective community space. I continue to offer this wisdom on a sliding scale model for collectives, organizations, and communities.
Moving Towards Justice
Community organizing understands and uplifts that movement work is deeply relational, expansive, and visionary. I organize to grow and to offer, to move through the messiness together, and to remember that empires have fallen before. Among other things, I organize around abolition, disability justice, and racial justice.
